Advocate Pawel Koehler, born 1959, graduated from Silesian University in Katowice in 1981 as a master of law. After finishing full-time legal justice training, he passed the judicary exam in the Provincial Court in Katowice in 1983, then, after finishing advocate legal training and passing the exam he was added to the advocates registry in 1987. Primarily he was working in Barristers’ Chambers, then in his own legal office. In 1992 he formed a company with legal advisor A. Rak where he works until today.
In 1987 he graduated from Commercial Law from the Bar Research Centre in Warsaw, continuing law practice as well as developing his interests and adjusting to changing needs of the market. He also took part in the British government scholarships Know How Fund in the law company Herbert Smith in City in London in 1990 as well as the scholarships of Michigan Bar Association in Detroit in 1991 and the Danish Bar Association in Copenhagen in 1992.
He was made a member of the International Bar Association 1990, and is also a member of the Regional Barrister Council of Katowice; he also has been a deputy of the Disciplinary Spokesperson of RBC, a member of the Board of Danish – Polish Friendship Legal Association since 1993, a member of the German-Polsh Lawyers Association since 1993, Deutsche Anwaltsverein (DAV) since 1997, as well as the INTERLEGAL.world lawyers' association.
Paweł Koehler is fluent in English and German and can also communicate in Russian and French.
Advocate and lawyer Andrzej Rak, born 1958, graduated from Silesian University in Katowice in 1981 as a master of law. After finishing full-time legal training, he passed the exam for the judicary in the Provincial Court in Katowice in 1983, then, working as a judge, he was deputy chairman of the Civil Department in District Court in Mikołów in 1983-89. In 1989 he was added in the list of legal advisors and in 1990 to the list of advocates.In 1990-92 he studied Public Policy at Regent University, School of Law and Government, Virginia Beach Virginia in the USA, where he obtained the title Master of Arts in Public Policy. He acts actively in the world organisation known as Advocates’ International and in connection with this he twice received Advocates’ Internarional Certificates of Achievement in 1999 and 2000. Primarily he was working in an individual lawyer office and in 1992 he formed a partnership with P. Koehler where he works to the present day.
He is a member of the council Advocates Europe, a member of Christian Legal Society USA, Advocates International USA and the INTERLEGAL.world association of lawyers.
Andrzej Rak is fluent in English and can also speak German and Russian.
Lawyer Mariusz Kurowski, born 1968, graduated from Silesian University in Katowice in 1995 as a master of law. After finishing legal advisor training, he was added to the legal register in 1999. He obtained a scholarships to Cambridge University – to study English law and that of the European Union between 1997-1999; he was a participant in the European Lawyers Scheme in London January – July 2000. In 2001 he joined the company Koehler Rak Kurowski Law Chambers, which he had been co-operating with for 9 years, as a partner. He is a member of the European Lawyers Association and the INTERLEGAL world association of lawyers.
Mariusz Kurowski, is fluent in English and he also knows French and Russian.
